Eagle County has established a mobile crisis response system that is tied to paramedics and local law enforcement agencies. This system responds to all 911 behavioral health calls with crisis clinicians to respond at the point of need. Providing care to stabilize individuals in the privacy of their home has led to a 74% reduction of transports to the hospital emergency department and county jail.

These mobile crisis assessments can take place in homes, offices, schools, local agencies, or physician’s offices.
