The Vail Health Crisis and Community Support Team is a FREE, community-based service that provides 24/7 support for mental health needs. Support is available over the phone, or in person by calling 970-306-HOPE (4673). After a brief phone assessment, our team can meet you where you are to help you through a challenging moment and connect you with the right resources for ongoing care.
Serving Eagle County, the Vail Health Crisis and Community Team can be utilized not only during a mental health crisis, but also when you need immediate support for life’s challenges. Services can be accessed in any language using a translator service.
The Vail Health Crisis & Community Support Team offers other services available to those in need. Here are two good resource for those who are discharging from a psychiatric hospital, or for someone who has higher needs than can be met in traditional individual outpatient therapy
- Intensive Outpatient Program
- Adults – Group therapy offered 3 days a week, 3 hours a day
- Groups focus on coping skills, managing stress, healthy relationships, recovery and wellness
- Adolescents – Group therapy for teens offered 3 days a week, 2 hours a day
- Groups focus on self-discovery, values exploration, healthy habits, and resilience
- Assertive Community Treatment (ACT Team)
- Wrap-around treatment for clients with higher mental health needs; treatment is provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes therapy, case management, and psychiatry

The Colorado Crisis Center is always available to help. Whatever you’re going through, their crisis counselors and professionally trained peer specialists are available to help when you need it, 24/7/365. Support and counseling services are available for yourself or a loved one. Some of the reasons people may call or text for help are anxiety, loneliness, substance use, relationship challenges, bullying and others.
