She has lived in the majestic Rocky Mountains for 29 years and aims to bridge the gap between the mountain lifestyle, mental health, and access to psychiatric care in rural communities. She has a Master of Science degree in Nursing and is dual board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner. As a provider, Joanna has worked in correctional medicine, orthopedics, acute pain service, outpatient psychiatry, and residential treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders. She brings a wealth of expertise to medication management of mental health disorders, specializing in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, trauma, substance use, and addiction.
